Train your agent

Upload the sales material your presales agent answers from. The better your content, the sharper every conversation.

Your presales agent answers prospects from the content you give it. This step is about feeding it the right material so its answers sound like your best rep, not a generic bot. The agent runs on Google Gemini and draws only from what you upload, so it will not invent things you never told it.

Start with what a prospect actually asks

Do not try to upload everything you own on day one. Think about the questions a prospect raises in a real discovery call, then add the documents that answer them:

  • Your one-pager or product overview.
  • Pricing and packaging details.
  • Comparison pages and competitor positioning.
  • Case studies and proof points.
  • The FAQ your reps answer over and over.

If you already keep a sales playbook or enablement docs, those are perfect. Add them and the agent will structure the rest.

Keep it current

The agent is only as accurate as its source material. Stale pricing or an old feature list will show up in conversations. When something changes on your side, update the document here so the agent stays in sync.

Curate what it uses

You are in control of what the agent draws on. If a document is internal-only or out of date, leave it out or disable it. Better to answer fewer questions well than to answer many questions wrong.

Test as you go

After you add a document, ask the agent a question it should now be able to answer. If the answer is thin, the source is probably thin too. Fill the gap and try again. A few minutes of this now saves you from weak conversations later.

Next you will shape how the agent talks, not just what it knows.
