Set up your profile

Your profile is the public surface your presales agent lives on. Here is how to set it up so prospects trust it the moment they land.

Your Parsley profile is the page a prospect sees when they click your link. It is where your presales agent lives. A good profile does two jobs at once: it tells the prospect who they are dealing with, and it gives them an obvious way to start a conversation. Set it up before you do anything else, because every later step builds on it.

When you sign up you choose a username, and that becomes your link: parsley.id/yourname. Keep it short and recognizable. This is the URL you will paste into emails and messages, so it should look like it belongs to you.

Fill in the essentials

A prospect decides whether to trust a page in seconds. Give them enough to feel comfortable:

  • Name and photo so the page feels like a real person, not a form.
  • Title and company so they know your role and who you represent.
  • A short intro line that says what you help with, in plain language.

You do not need to write an essay. Clarity beats length.

Let the conversation lead

Your profile can hold several sections, but the presales agent is the part that does the work. Keep it front and center. Supporting links like save contact or schedule a call are useful, but they are secondary. The goal is to get the prospect talking, because that is where the intent gets captured.

A quick gut check

Open your profile in a new tab and look at it the way a prospect would:

  • Is it obvious who you are and what you do?
  • Is the conversation the most inviting thing on the page?
  • Would you click into it from a cold email?

If yes, you are ready to train the agent. That is the next step.
