Getting Started

Get started with Parsley in under 5 minutes. Create your profile, enable the presales agent, and connect your CRM.

Get your Parsley profile live and capturing leads. This guide covers the essentials.

Create Your Account

  1. Go to parsley.id/signup
  2. Enter your email and create a password
  3. Verify your email address

You're now logged in to your Parsley dashboard.

Set Up Your Profile

Basic Information

  1. Click Profile in the sidebar
  2. Add your name, job title, and company
  3. Upload a profile photo (recommended: square, at least 400x400px)
  4. Write a short bio

Contact Information

Add the contact methods you want to share:

  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Office address
  • Social media links (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)

Content Sections

Parsley profiles support multiple content types:

  • Links - Portfolio, calendars, resources
  • Media - Videos, images, presentations
  • Text - About sections, services, testimonials

Add sections that help visitors understand what you do and how to work with you.

Enable Lead Capture

Parsley captures leads automatically when visitors interact with your profile. Configure your capture settings:

  1. Go to Settings > Lead Capture
  2. Enable Contact Exchange - Visitors share their info in return for yours
  3. Set notification preferences for new leads

Set Up Your Presales Agent

Most prospects won't schedule a call just to ask a quick question. Parsley's presales agent lets them get instant answers from your uploaded documents.

Quick setup:

  1. Go to Chatbot in the sidebar
  2. Upload your documents (product sheets, FAQs, pricing guides)
  3. Choose a persona: Professional, Friendly, or Technical
  4. Enable the chatbot — the Profile Chatbot section appears on your profile automatically

Now visitors can ask questions 24/7 and get answers based on your materials. You'll see every conversation in your dashboard, including what topics come up most and which questions signal buying intent.

Share Your Profile

Your Parsley profile has a unique URL: parsley.id/your-username

Ways to share:

  • Email signature - Add your Parsley link to your email footer
  • LinkedIn - Drop your link in InMails and DMs, or add it to your Custom Button or Featured section
  • Post-call recap - Drop your link in the follow-up email after a discovery call

Connect Your CRM

Sync leads automatically to your CRM:

CRM integrations require a paid plan or conversation balance. View pricing.

The "Powered by Parsley" mark

Every profile carries a small "Powered by Parsley" credit in the footer. It stays on whether you're on the free tier or paying with conversations - it's how new sellers discover Parsley, and the people viewing your profile are often the exact teams we're built for.

Removing the mark is part of our agency program, where it's white-labeled for managed client engagements. It isn't a standalone setting on individual accounts. If you're running client work and want to white-label, get in touch.
