Close CRM Integration

Sync Parsley chatbot leads to Close CRM with tags, custom fields, and conversation activities. Available as a proof of concept - apply to get set up.

Parsley's Close CRM integration is currently available as a proof of concept. We'll configure the sync for your Close account, seed your custom fields, and verify end-to-end before handing over.

Quick Setup

  1. Visit the Parsley + Close integration page
  2. Click Apply for a proof of concept
  3. Tell us about your Close workspace and ICP
  4. We set up and verify the sync inside a few days

Prerequisites

  • A Close account - Sign up at close.com if you don't have one. You need a Startup plan or higher for API access.
  • A Parsley Business account - CRM integrations require a Business plan. Upgrade here if you're on Free.
  • 15 minutes for a setup call - We'll connect Close, seed custom fields, and run a test lead together.

What Syncs to Close

Every chatbot conversation that captures a lead syncs to Close as a Contact on a Lead. Contacts are matched by email address so existing records are updated rather than duplicated.

Intelligence Tags

Parsley provisions 12 tags on your Close Leads. Tags apply automatically based on the chatbot conversation and appear on the Lead record for Smart View filtering and sequence targeting.

Using tags in Close: Build a Smart View that filters by any combination - Parsley: Hot Lead + Parsley: Decision Criteria Signal to find prospects with budget urgency, for example. Save it and your pipeline ranks by genuine buyer intent. Tags can also trigger Close email sequences for automated follow-up.

Custom Fields

Seven custom fields are provisioned on your Close Leads:

Conversation Activity

Every meaningful chatbot conversation syncs as a Close Activity on the Lead. The Activity includes:

  • Conversation summary - Key points and topics discussed
  • Lead quality score - Hot, Warm, or Cold based on signals
  • MEDDIC signals detected - Which buying indicators fired
  • Engagement metrics - Message count, session duration, return visitor status

Your reps see the full context on the Lead before the first call.

Verification

After we set up the sync:

  1. Capture a test lead - Use your own email to fill out the contact form on your Parsley profile
  2. Check Close - Within a few seconds a Contact appears on a Lead with the correct tags
  3. Have a chatbot conversation - Ask a few questions on your profile's chatbot
  4. Check the Lead activity - The conversation Activity appears with a summary
